Background
Guy has more than 27 years of experience in finance and public accounting. Before joining Acilon in October 2025, Guy was an Audit Partner in the Silicon Valley Bay Area audit practice of Ernst & Young LLP (EY), whereby he served a number of technology, biotech and consumer product companies. Guy started with EY in Toronto Canada, prior to relocating to Silicon Valley in 2000. From 2008-2013 Guy relocated to Shanghai, China, EY’s US Asia Pacific Capital Markets Group, where he focused on large multinationals, US and Hong Kong companies, including IPOs of such companies in the US and Hong Kong.
Throughout his career he has been involved in numerous Domestic and Foreign Private Issuers, such as initial public offerings (traditional and SPAC), follow-ons, debt issuances, business acquisitions (including predecessor and successor presentation), disposals and reverse acquisitions, including of experience in dealing with the SEC comment letters. Guy also has extensive experience in dealing with Foreign Corruption Practices Act (FCPA), internal/external whistleblower and external short-seller related matters, inclusive of the related investigations, and the interplay within the c-suite and the board of directors (including any relevant committees).
Guy is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and California CPA.
